Noble mentioned off field stuff for Elliott so maybe there is a bit more to it than $$. Feels like he would have accepted our offer by now if he was going to.
Yep?...my info is there is movement (retirement)of pies medical staff...Fages talking up our medical team is the selling point.

Needs a very thorough physical before I'd consider trading for him.
Even for skeleton remains... Essendon will still want 2 first rounders

Charlie spent the best part of his childhood and adolescent years here, whereas Jamie played most of his footy at Euroa so he can't have been here that long. That being said it seems likely he's from somewhere in rural QLD. It is an interesting point to make but I think it wouldn't be a factor at all - more to do with our recent success, injury trackrecord etc.
I'd be interested two find out where his two Queensland-based brothers live because that could actually be a factor.

Thought Jesus would be a one club man
Nah...He and his co-horts were in it for the money....That's why Garry Jnr joined them...

Dude are you stalking Jamie? You seem VERY keen for a GC supporter lol.

I don't mind the honesty, and of course you would be asking the question if you were in their position. What i don't like is the pro-saints media coverage of it. Media talk about it, joke about it as if it is a sure thing. I think that is very disrespectful to the Suns, and if the AFL were serious about how bad things look to the public with some player movement and when clubs are talking to players, they should be stamping that crap out. Would love to see the Suns turn the tables.
Agree, I wonder although a long shot is it draft tampering to declare you are after a certain player full well knowing he is a high draft pick. The AFL if they had any balls would jump on this and the suns should fire one any shot, as others suggest, an bring the other brother up here. Right now it seems the Suns will loose at least 2 of their top draft picks from last year and, pubically, it seems they are not putting up a whimper say compared to Geelong who even with justification came out early and said - 2 first round draft picks.

Bit late to the party today. First day back at work, a bloody drainer!

It’s a NO to Birch from me. Don’t get me wrong, he has been a champion player, but I think we have moved past needing a ‘mature’ head in the backline. We have Richy, Dad and Gardiner who all have some experience and I think they have certainly stepped up and grown their own wings whilst Hodgey has been here. If it was 2 years ago, I would have been all for a Hodge/Birch package, but not now.

Good to see that Ah Chee should be a pretty smooth transition. Would love to see him and Coxy on the park with Charlie ripping it up. Certainly some x-factor there.

I still have a feeling we have something else in the works. Hoping for another nice surprise in the trade period somewhere!
