VFL 2019 VFL Practice Games

Magpies netball are live streaming their practice games.

Obviously that's a good thing for the good folks who follow our netball team, but why would they live stream netball and not AFL?

Since there has been footage around, they obviously were recording the game. Why not stream it for the public.

Were the 2 Irish lads involved in the game?

I get the feeling we might be lacking in some size this VFL season unless we addressed it via our VFL list.

Someone might correct me, but I thought I saw Keane do some decent things off the back line. I wasn't sure who he was, everyone shouted 'Mark!' when he had possession, so I figured it was him.

Were they shouting this straight after someone caught a kick without it bouncing?

Jared Rivers said the best player was Appleby.

Pleasing to hear. He was good last week as well. Not sure there's a senior spot for him at the moment so all he can do is keep putting his best foot forward.

Not sure that we intended Roughead to play 22 H&A games.

Who else have we got coming through? Madgen?

Maybe Goldsack (IIRC he’s training with the forwards?)

To be honest- he plays as many games as he can if he's healthy.
He's very reliable in his first 2 outings and is comfortable with ball in hand.

Agree. It’s the “If healthy” bit I was referring to.

Well now that the Practice games are done with I'm really looking forward to another vfl season.
I have been really underwhelmed by our practice games and the inability to score.

I see us as one of the favorites for the competition with so many senior players moving through tje vfl .
