Take note of what? What is to be taken from this ratings comparison?

That putting cricket behind a paywall is, in the long term, a dumb idea - not because of the ratings comparison, but because it is giving up free to air space to a competitor, which hurts the sport. Cricket in England is not in a good way.

Kind of a random thought on a related note, I honestly think the FIFA video games have been a major factor in soccer being almost the default sport for young people all over the world. You've got a lot of people in their twenties who are set for life just playing the games on youtube. If the Don Bradman Cricket game had have been able to get official licensing rights and marketing support I honestly think it would have done a lot to grow the game with the youth crowd.

The risk of a World cup in the UK, abandoned match after abandoned match.

Probably moreso playing it in early June. Scheduling is never as easy as people make out and there'd no doubt be many disappointed if the World Cup took the prime part of the season over the test, but that's probably should have been what happened here.

Mitch replacing Stoinis will be a good thing. Decent ODI record, doesnt * around for 30 balls getting his eye in and levers warmed up. Stoinis has been absolute s**t this year and most of last, most overrated cricketer on the planet. Mitch really should have been with the squad in India and the UAE to compete with Stoinis for that All rounder spot.

I think MMarsh solves a lot of problems with the sides composition. Adds a bowling option who isn't burdening Cummins and Starc with pressure releasing balls, and a lower order hitter who doesn't get going at a glacial pace.
Agreed. As a one day player he’s not that bad. Has to be Better than Stoinis.

Need Finch to stand up later in the tournament.

Warner, Finch, Khawaja, Smith, Maxwell, Marsh, Carey, Cummins, Starc, Zampa, ??

NCN needs to be replaced if we are to beat India.

I'm pretty sure when India play Pakistan. That the global TV ratings will beat the woman's soccer world cup.
The CwC is losing enormous momentum with the almost daily washout.

So in the likely scenario of no other games being played for the rest of the tournament, do NZ win the cup?
Would you believe if the final (and the reserve day) is washed out its joint winners? So NZ and India would share the trophy.

ICC going with the the "it's toooo haaaard" excuse.

Factoring in a reserve day for every match at the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup would significantly increase the length of the tournament and practically would be extremely complex to deliver.
It would impact pitch preparation, team recovery and travel days, accommodation and venue availability, tournament staffing, volunteer and match officials availability, broadcast logistics and very importantly the spectators who in some instances have travelled hours to be at the game. There is also no guarantee that the reserve day would be free from rain either.
Up to 1200 people are on site to deliver a match and everything associated with it including getting it broadcast and a proportion of them are moving around the country so reserve days in the group stage would require a significant uplift in the number of staff. We have reserve days factored in for the knock-out stages, knowing that over the course of 45 group games we should play the large majority.

It's their own fault for designing the group stage in the way they have.

The World Cup will be played when India says so.

Joint premiers in washed out grand finals even in local cricket is a joke. Having it happen on the world stage, though hopefully unlikely with reserve days for the finals, would be disastrous. Really come on, would both teams be on the podium together at the presentation

Not if it's raining :)

In local cricket, if a GF is washed out, the premiership is awarded to the higher ranked team.

Does that actually happen?
Every local cricket comp I've played in the top team wins if it's a washout.

Not in some sporting comps.

But you're right those joint premierships are more relevant to ties rather than washouts.

My team this season tied the grand final and yet lost the flag by being the lower ranked side. I feel it's very few competitions that award joint premiers.
