There is more to Sheridan. His selection was a reaction to the introduction of the sub rule and interchange restrictions being predicted.

There was an expectation that players would need to spend more time on the ground and more elite runners would allow players to get to the contest.

In the end the competition reacted by everyone needing to get that fit.

Robertson, Brayshaw could be the core of our midfield for the next 10 yrs. Two extremely dedicated, professional mids that put it all on the line each and every week. Add in Blakely and the class of Cerra and we have a hell of a foundation to build on.

We're all talking about Henry playing forward but he also plays the wings as well. He has the speed and skill to be an extremely damaging midfielder/winger, He's a faster version of Walters. Add in Stephens aswell and we're set on the inside and outside.

Stick to the draft, get Robertson/Stephens/Henry and just look what our 26 and under side could look like:

26 & Under

Logue - Hamling - Ryan
Wilson - APearce - Duman
Stephens - Cerra - Tucker
Henry - Hogan - Sturt
Switta - Taberner - Lobb

Darcy - Brayshaw - Robertson

Depth/Bench
McCarthy - Cox - Valente - Bewley - Carter - Dixon - Banfield

Our backline was the 2nd best up until the half way mark when injuries started to impact the side. We've basically got at least another 5yrs with them as a unit. Everyone of our KPP are 26 or under - Hamling/Pearce/Darcy/Hogan/Taberner/Lobb. Barring injuries we should get 5yrs from them as a unit. Fyfe/Walters/SHill are older than this group but will still be playing once the majority of them are around the 100-150 games mark.

Rebuild is still on track in my eyes. Longmuir, over to you.

Top 10 combine results

Did Jackson compete? Didnt get anywhere near it in the jump tests which wouldnt impress on recruiters given he's already giving away 5cm+ on reach against the big boys
