Chiocci was joined in recommitting by 2018 draftees Mikala Cann and Lauren Butler, as well as 2019 draftees Ebony O’Dea and Alana Porter

Also cross-code athlete Imogen Purcell
In 2019 Purcell was a member of the Australian rowing team and won a bronze medal in the under 23’s World Rowing Championships.

The 21-year-old returns to Melbourne following two years abroad at the University of California Los Angeles, where she won MVP and upcoming freshman rower awards.

The talented junior athlete has also competed at a national level as a track and field athlete and at state level as a basketballer and netballer.

Really happy about Porter, Chiocci and O'Dea in particular. Porter is a gun!

This was the trade.

Adelaide
In –
Munyard (Western Bulldogs) and pick 45 (Collingwood)

Out – Pick 25 (Western Bulldogs)

Collingwood
In –
Pick 33 (Western Bulldogs)

Out – Lynch (Western Bulldogs), pick 45 (Adelaide)

Western Bulldogs
In –
Lynch (Collingwood), pick 25 (Adelaide)

Out – Munyard (Adelaide), pick 33 (Collingwood)

The Bulldogs then subsequently on-traded that pick 25 and their own pick 19 to Collingwood in return for pick 11, a first-rounder.

The Pies will need to reserve a first or second-rounder for father-daughter selection Tarni Brown (whose brothers Callum and Tyler are already at the club) come the NAB AFLW Draft.

Excellent news to sign those last 4 up - all key players.

And should be able to secure some talented girls with those draft picks too

Agree, excellent news. Sharni has become so important to us. Terrific also about the Irish girls. There was some concern that they wouldn’t return.

Here's an article from The Age on the signings. Great news all round. I'm hoping for some forwards in the draft now.
