Crazy to see us look like a real football team again, I'd almost forgotten what it was like!

Can we register Gestede for the Round of 16?

Nup. And we're still limited to 3 internationals as well.

It makes for depth we've never had before though when you add Gestede and Kruse to this line up. Despite the goals he's scored from the spot, I don't think Brimmer is even in our best 11.

I just have to trust there's a plan in place with that centre back, cos our defence has been terrifying to watch at times. I'd love to think that some German club is also hiding an Australian keeper that we can loan as an upgrade on the current 2, but I don't think that's happening.

Broxy and McManaman out and now Traore injured. Ulsan controlling the game as expected so far.

Another save from Crocombe, getting close to half time.
Our attacks have been falling apart in our front third.

Well, nil all at the half, that means more sleep to be lost.

Crocombe yet another good save, Ulsan don't look too far off from scoring.
Good run by Rojas, to Lauton, but good save by Ulsan keeper.
Crocombe needs to buy a lottery ticket, save again.

And there it is, Ulsan score in the 65th.
Ulsan now 2-0 up in the 77th and thats goodnight.

Ulsan 3 Vuck 0

We hung in there but once Ulsan scored the first goal it was all over! We just ran out of legs in the end.

We had some good moments and played so good football at times but really this team has a long way to go. That midfield especially I’m still not convinced!

Anyway bring on the A-League I’m now very interested to see how this team can grow and improve.
