Seems the only 2 names being considered for Boise State's head coach is Kellen Moore and Andy Avalos.

Safe hire is Andy Avalos (grad. Boise State 2005, GA Colorado 2006-08, Sacramento State (FCS) 2011, DL coach Nebraska-Kearney (Div 2) 2009-10, Boise State 2012-13, LB coach Boise State 2014-2018, Oregon 2019-20, DC Boise State 2016-18, Oregon 2019-20)

Risky hire is Kellen Moore (grad. Boise State 2013, QB Detroit 2012-14, Dallas 2015-17, QB coach Dallas 2018, OC Dallas 2019-20)

Thing is, if Kellen is willing to make the hard calls (and cut dead weight assistants) and can recruit well (unproven as he's been in the pro system for the better part of a decade now) it could be the absolute perfect hire. High risk high reward imho.
