Chinese group matches have changed from their original scheduling due to the corona virus, that's why the fixture might seem a little lopsided. Matches in China may still yet be rescheduled or postponed again depending on the extend of the virus outbreak in future.

SydneyFC with the harder group out of the Aussie teams can the current best Aussie team show it in Asia? Victory have a good chance to advance if they can get their sh*t together, they've finally won an away game in Asia by qualifying can they finally win an away group match? Perth Glory's first ACL very exciting for them we know what Popovic did with WSW on their first attempt.

How did we get the hardest group and a victory get the walk up?

Ha! I wouldn't say ours is a walk up, but Sydney sure got the group of death this campaign, but as they say if your good enough it shouldn't matter! The match against Anges Yokohama should be interesting, least the game style will be familiar to Sydney.

These little Thai players trying to act all tough and sh*t really all it did was made them look like a bunch of noobs! I surpose they couldn't match us physically so it was some way of slowing the game down. don't think it worked!

How was that little prick who tried to headbutt Ola only he couldn't even reach and headbutted Ola's back lol

You wonder how this tournament gets any support from broadcasters and sponsors when you look at the crowds. We've all been to NPL games with better crowds than this.
The broadcasters keep asking for players to help promote it and the AFC keep saying no.

AFC has to do more and the clubs have to help then do it.
This should be the pinnacle of the sport in Asia.

The AFC are to busy with bureaucracy crap like covering up sponsor boards and satisfying themselves with buffet menus than worrying about promotion of their competitions.

bloody hell 3-0!

Loving the way Anges Yokohama are playing absolutely smashing the A-League champions!

This isn’t just about the gulf between J-League and the A-League.

This is an Ange Postecoglou coached side that is taking advantage of the resources to produce a technically and tactically good squad. His squad, his vision. A squad which could easily be applied to an A-League team with the some resource.

I always wondered what Ange could have achieved with Victory had he stayed but with a salary cap and poorer resources here probably not much in Asia.

The personals are their Ange, Popovic, Arnold, it’s the resources that are not and that’s the shame.
