So this might look familiar but it's actually a new spreadsheet, built to hopefully make it easier to update during the draft.

Going to do the best I can, hopefully it doesn't break. 🤞🤞🤞

Funny thing is our defence is fine, our mids ok after this draft. Ruck decent.

Forward line a worry but we are not a complete basket case.

Why do they need to rebuild?

Their list is better placed for the future than the Eagles, who they beat in the finals.

Add a FA next year with Daicos and they are set up beautifully.
An essendon supporter who defends Collingwood

You sure you are not undercover??

By the way, I thought you guys also did very well in the draft.

However enough of the love in.

You don't win a flag without a spearhead. It just doesn't happen

17, 23, 30 + 31 (you already had 19) and some scrap points next year for Treloar, Stephenson, Phillips, Atu AND a future first which will most likely end up top 10.

Well done Ned Guy.

It gets worse when you think of what they gave up to get all of those players in the first place:

OUT: Pick 7 (2015), Pick 58 (2015), Pick 7 (2016), Pick 6 (2018), Pick 77 (2018), 2021 Future 1st (8-14)
IN: Pick 17, Pick 23, Pick 30, Pick 31 + Future 'scrap' points

No revising that - but they certainly did well with what they had. If you were to look at it in a holistic sense, however, it's been an absolute trainwreck of wasted high end picks over a 5-6 year period.

Not sure the dogs had a spearhead or even us in 2010 (I know a long time ago)

Boyd did what Lynch did for us in 2006. Kicked 3 goals. Which was what JK kicked in 2018 too

I think you may have had cloke in 2010

I only just realised you'd embedded a live pick spreadsheet Lore. I wish I'd realised last night. Fox Footy has a strange obsession with only showing the next few picks.

Thanks for all of your work this past month in particular 👏

I too missed the giant spreadsheet stickied at the top of every page of the thread

When do we get an academy pick? Lol

This is f’ed and the interstate teams clean up with this stuff along with the Dogs this year.

All you hear is the Swans getting steals with these picks.

If only Victorian teams had some advantages that somehow evened it out.

Let’s start with giving them more home/neutral games, the grand final in their city no matter who finishes higher and a large number of talented players asking to be traded back to mummy after a few years in the AFL system.

Yes let’s start there and see how it goes.

You forgot the cost of living arrangement also.

Don’t forget that and gee it is close to 2 million in salary cap I reckon while Buddy gets 80% of it .....

Swans are always the AFL love child and Will continue to be.

Can you answer the question, though?

North picked three mids straight up. Not sure about needs, but all are absolute ball pigs, are clean with ball in hand and have good leadership skills. Reeks of a Glenn Luff CD analysis job.

I didn't miss it, I just thought it was the Provisional 2020 sheet from the other thread as a reference 😭

That's ok, I misread obvious stuff too fam
