Fun watching this back and noticing the similarities between Cunners and Phillip at the same age. Cunners better overhead, Phillips has a quicker burst and is better on the spread but both of them stoppage defensive beasts.

You could tell me 1:07, 1:24, 1:30, 2:07, 2:15, 2:30 were all Phillips highlights and I'd believe you.

Would love to see him playing in the same midfield.

Do we bid and take the pressure off, or do we think our first ever number 1 pick might generate some excitement + membership sales? if we could trade it for 2 top 10 picks I’d do it in a heartbeat. It's not so much a matter of overhype here, they just pay little attention outside of the top couple interstate.

We'd need to lose by about 100 or so points to fall below Adelaide, while they'd have to make the score look respectable against Richmond. Not out of the realm of possibility for us to do our part, but I don't see Adelaide getting within 7 goals.

Surely you acknowledge that Western Australian politics & media constantly sets up it's state as being victimised by the east? Only the lemmings fall for it. It's 100% designed to get votes & viewers.

The South Australians have pretty much grown out of it.
