First time I have watched the video clip of the Hollandaise sauce and was suitably impressed. What I really like is his confidence and he can kick on both feet very well, a rare trait nowadays. I have been an advocate of Will as I am worried about Hollands acl . Any word on how far advanced his rehab is?

Forget about the ACL, he aint no Ahern.

Think Petracca, but both feet, and taller.

Petracca actually did his knee early, in his AFL career. Look at him now.

It's a big wank exercise eh?

Victorian players going up and down the order without a game being played for 14 months.

A lot of these "trade experts" are young blokes who rely a hell of a lot on recent exposed form.

I'd place more value in someone like Denis Pagan watching a kid for 5 minutes, because that's about how long it took him to analyse Peter Bell when 15 other clubs didn't give him a second look. You can't beat a seasoned analyst with a good eye.

How good was that story?

Everyone thought we were taking Traianidis who was an exciting kid in our ressies, we roll out Bell for 5 minutes in a praccie and Denis sends out the message "ok son you've done enough" and they take him off.

Crank myself time - I remember Bell in Freo's first Ansett Cup game and thought "he's good a good mark for a rover" as he caught my eye a bit.

Was pleasantly surprised when we listed him a year later.

North Melbourne draftee Elijah Hollands coming up on SEN.

Impressive kid, sounds a bit like Higgo.
He just said that he’d love to go to Adelaide.

What else is he going to say?

Only thing I will say is that he does have regular conversations with recruiters from various clubs which help shape his list.

I highly doubt North have given him anything, but if you look at his Phantoms in previous years, it's generally pretty spot on.

Perkins for example, despite not playing, has gone from mid teens to seemingly a top 10 lock in club circles, which is now reflected in his guide.

Trading of picks would influence his phantom draft, it is partly rating the talent and partly which clubs he thinks will take players where, there have also been combine results which would likely impact. He has been fairly accurate in terms of top 10 and to a lesser extent first round phantom drafts the last few years. That Age reporter was another who was accurate before she went to work with GWS as a talent scout.

That top 20 really shows the leg up Gold Coast has got. Two good kids they don't need to match bids on and they still have pick five...
The AFL should just buy them a cup and be done with it.

Crazy as it sounds .. we are prob in a good position with being 2nd pick. If the Crows pick up Logan Mac then we pick up Hollands and be very happy still. But If the crows pick up Hollands , then we we pick up Logan Mac... win win I say...
Unless Adelaide take Thilthorpe, which could certainly happen.

Then it makes for a very difficult decision. I'll be happy with either, I just don't want us to trade down.
