Hogan being a bust worries me on quality of football in WA. (also return to home factor)

However I'll back the team and if McDonald is the one then sure.

Christ, the physiques on some of these kids. They certainly haven't wasted lockdown playing video games.

Ellijah "Highpants" Hollands.

You know who else was a bit of Harry High-Pant, W. Carey who at the same age had a very similar looking Mullet and blank, I'm better than all these Turkey's look in his eyes.

He is so North, I love him. I can already picture the mischief he, Zurhaar and Larkey are about to get up to.

Choppy I respect most of what you say, but what has hogan being a dropkick got to do with WA footy.?

Hey mate I never meant that at all?

I think you've misread my post as I know passionate WA which is great. Just he hasn't done much at all.

Not sure you can worry about the go home factor. What happens if we finish last (wont be happening though) next year do we not pick Horne because he is from SA. I know it can be a risk but we do have a very good record of keeping players from interstate

It's always a risk picking Insterstate players but I agree you back our system to retain.

I'm not disputing that but some players are desperate for home and if 50-50 pick the local player imo.

No intent to be harsh as it's clearly a hard time for every name up there but why bother entering the draft? Is it a rookie list thing? All could be put on a list as a DFA at any moment.

You can’t blame talent in a state because of one blokes mental state. Also Hogan doesn’t lack talent, he clearly has other things going on.

Plenty of flops come out of Victoria. If I single a few out, does that diminish our talent in the state?

We should rookie the Egg...very good skills. Looked 10x better than any medium defender we have

I didn't mention his mental state once? WTF?

Just hasn't delivered on a so called superstar talent.

He isn't and never was.

Did it cross your mind that he hasn’t delivered due to his mental state?

He was an absolute gun early days and things have gone downhill since, due to personal circumstances.
