When you say band 1 or band 2 does that align to round picks ie if they are deemed to be band 1 then it's a first rder

Band 1 is immediately after a clubs first pick.

Band 2 is at the start of the first round.

In Adelaides current case:

Band 1 = Pick 2
Band 2 = Pick 19

Ta assuming me start of round 2 for band 2.... does it have to be tied to their current pick it has to be 2 assuming they are last can't be a 10 or so? Or that affects others too much.... no way a 27 yr old who isn't exactly ripping it up should be a pick 2

Will Phillips
180cm/79kg
22/5/02
Oakleigh Chargers/Vic Metro
Midfielder

A niggling knee injury would likely have ruled Phillips out for a fair chunk of the first half of this season had it been played as planned, but clubs are well aware of the midfielder's traits. Despite uncertainty over whether Vic Metro players take the field this season, Phillips has runs on the board. He's a tough, hard-working, physical inside midfielder who can also push forward. Is a consistent ball-getter – he averaged 22 disposals for the Chargers last season – and kicked two goals in their NAB League Grand Final win.

Elijah Hollands
188cm/85kg
25/4/02
Murray Bushrangers/Vic Country
Forward/midfielder

Hollands was the possible No.1 pick at the start of the year before he tore his anterior cruciate ligament in his knee in February and started his 12-month recovery. The injury was viewed as pushing him out of contention for the top choice, but given the lack of games played by draftees this year it may not impact his draft position much at all. Hollands is dangerous as a deep forward, but was set to play as a powerful, explosive midfielder this year. He can dominate at stoppages and is a booming long kick. Some see him as the best midfield prospect in the pool.

Yes, that was just a typo from Pykie
And Band 1 is tied to their first pick

Nik Cox
199cm/82kg
15/1/02
Northern Knights/Vic Metro
Key forward/defender

An athletic tall with big upside. Cox did some exciting things in the NAB League last year, playing a range of positions and averaging 12 disposals and five marks as well as booting nine goals. Cox tends to play as a forward option and enjoys flying for grabs – something he produced while in Vic Metro's under-18 line-up last year too – but also can run, which has seen him used on the wing at stages and in key defence.

If we had a pick in the 10-15 range I’d be keen but at this rate we are getting 2 top 5 picks

I hope they pick Phillips over Hollands, we have had too many draftees of late come in with injuries and then never crack on. Id take Denver Granger-Barrass with the second pick as well if he was still there, kids a gun. Club shouldnt be giving up either pick for anyone, the top 10 of this draft will all go on to be very good players.

Forget about the first half. Try 3rd quarter if you want to see Hollands at his best.
Watching game again the stand out mids r Campbell and Phillips. Campbell marginally better Phillips reminds me of a Scotty thompson type player. Also really like the look of Ford got something special. Just say we don’t get band 1 for crouch. Do we still take tilthorpe or do we take best mid available ? I think I’m going best mid. If do get band 1 tilthorpe then put bid on Campbell then matched and take Phillips. With gws pick take ford hopefully. Or we could just load up philips Holland and Ford. What do we think. I just thi k pick 1 too high for tilthorpe. Would be more comfortable at gws pick but will he still be there ?

Sooo, you want everyone? Don’t we all!

Watching the vision on GR's page (I'm plugging it, get on peeps)....

Campbell is as smooth as ****

Phillips is a competitive beast. Don't undersell his skills.

Hollands bounces around like a 2yo colt. Dual sided too. Upside could be enormous.

Ford looks exciting

Looking forward to more vision, GR.
