Apologies for any inconvenience. We will try to find a replacement.
Well thankfully JUH will go Pick 1, so McDonald/Hollands won't carry that burden
My thinking is that JUH bid won’t come until 3 or 4.
Or at least not one, to much prestige attached to it, teams wouldn’t want there first pick tainted with consolation prize rhetoric.
He will be bidded on at 1.
I agree. Pick one has prestige but it also comes with baggage. In this instance you're a 1% chance of still getting the best key prospect in the draft. Worst case they pass and the wooden spooner slips pick 2 a 30k bonus in the first contract.

On another matter.
Does anybody know anything about Eddie Ford?
His highlight reel looks amazing. Are we any chance of getting him.
Looks like a bolter to me. May have to pull the trigger with the dees pick if we want him.I love everything about this kid I've seen so far (which admittedly is only what I've seen on here). Rated around our third pick from the looks of things so hopefully doesn't bolt.

My mate would love that as a birthday gift.Yep. Check out the title

You need to provide a better rebuttal than this.
Souup's write up rings true to the naked eye.
He/she asked me a question and I answered it, what more do you want? I'm not going to have pissy arguments with posters, who get their back up. This is about the club, not me or any poster.
Feels that way too.
The ideal would be grabbing an extra pick mid teens.
Surprising. Looking purely at his highlights you’d think he was top 5. Love how quickly he makes discussions and acts. Seems to be no lag time between hand and head. Looks as though he would rarely get caught.
He’s got some serious campaigner in him too.....a lot to like. If we went Phillips I’d be ken on this bloke with our GoDees pick for sureSurprising. He looks like he could be a big bodied midfielder to me.....it’s also where he sees himself playing going by the video requests he’s made re Fyfe etc.Serious question:
Where does he play with Thomas, Zurhaar and Taylor all fit?
This is discounting Jack Ziebell, Taylor Garner and Will Walker also.
I like Ford, but we are seriously bonkers if we use the Melbourne pick on him unless the intention is of turning him into a midfielder.

Was just thinking it will be interesting how the both test at the combine, possibly not Hollands due to the ACL, in the endurance test etc.If that is the club's intention, I will back Luff and Brady in.
It's a huge call though with a top 10 pick in a draft and a year when the kid has never kicked a football through the midfield and we have some of the most highly rated u/22 medium forwards in the league already.
You could argue the same case with Hollands and his ACL pours further fuel on that fire, but he is honestly a few levels above Ford when it comes to his skillset and game breaking ability.

Ford is essentially the 2020 version of 2018 Curtis Taylor.
We have about 8 medium forwards that can't play full time midfield at the moment.
see him as a pure mid.
Having said that I really only basing all this on some video footage.
He's never played that role at NAB league level.
He's pretty much been exclusively a forward.
