I don't get the impression that we are targeting Tilthorpe or McDonald after listening to this.

I agree. Sounds like we are after an elite ball user in the middle.
One of Phillip's or Hollands will be in north colours imo.

NORTH MELBOURNE

Draft picks:
2, 11, 30, 39, 71, 81

Father-Son/Academy prospects: N/A

At Pick 2, the Roos have a great chance to bring in an elite player at the 2020 draft. Whether that is a tall or small remains to be seen, but there a plenty of options for Scott Clayton and Glenn Luff. It might be hard to look past the best pure midfielder in the draft pool, Will Phillips, with the Oakleigh Chargers onballer being a standout since his Under 15 days. While he might not be one of the tallest onballers going around, the 180cm prospect is ready to play and could slot in Round 1 next year. He is fantastic in traffic and is well balanced to play either in the centre or on the wing. Phillips’ speed is also strong enough to burst out of a stoppages and testing results show he can run hard all day. His leadership is also might impressive, with some suggesting he could well be a future captain of a club one day.

Going to leave our KPF stocks mighty low. Anyway it's best talent available at that point. If we go a mid, there are a few kpp options later in the draft.

Phillips is not ‘an elite ball user’. In fact, he’s the complete opposite, a butcher. Good hand baller but poor by foot. Can’t be drafting mids like that
