Any thoughts on Syd unders? I really don't want to bet WC given I have no idea how long they're going to squib the season but matchup wise I can't see Syd scoring. Nic Nat should slaughter McLean so first use in the middle. Syd have absolutely no talls in their forward line so McGovern should mark everything. Papley's a gun but he'll get a hard matchup in Sheppard. Perhaps Hurn to the other match winner Heeney?

Total Match Points West Coast Eagles v Sydney Swans. I sense the game will be cagey (as much as I would love it to be a high scoring game). Eagles need a win and Swans go into the game as underdogs. Eagles v Swans line is at 126.5 points. I like the look of Unders in this game. Jack Darling, Jamie Cripps have been a bit disappointing to me so far.

Im seeing a betting option whereby if there is between 19 goals in the match and Under 150 points or less paying $2.70. I reckon that looks pretty decent.

There have been 28 games since the Covid break, the average score from those matches has been 122.93. Think there is a bit of value if the line for under 123.5-126.5 points for Swans v Eagles. (Currently at 126.5 pts)

Accuracy wise there has been 502 goals and 430 behinds, for an average of 17.93 goals per match and 15.36 behinds per match. (Accuracy of 53.86%) Im pretty sure watching West Coast they would struggle to notch 9 goals a game. West Coast have not enjoyed the QLD hub at all, they have notched 6 goals per game in 3 matches in QLD.

We might see a different West coast this week. I know we said that last week but it has to happen this week or else they're dead. Think they score quite heavily. Except for Liam Ryan, I'll never trust him again.

I remember compiling a stat, and i think in past seasons, West Coast matches in the past were traditionally a 3 goal higher scoring games, then away matches.

Think it has to do a bit with weather, ground familiarity and being in the comfort zone.

If West Coast happen to be up by 2-3 goals come the end of half time or three quarter time with about 3 minutes to go or if its a tight match come the end of the game, I sense they will slow down the game as much as possible. I too sense the Swans will do this as well. I can't see too many quarters in todays match where you will see 6 goals in a quarter.
