I personally would like to see a bit of adjustment to the rules. (just for this season anyway due to Covid) If you having a set shot, it should be a max of 20 seconds. Too many teams, especially the ones leading late in the match, are taking the full 30 seconds, some teams take even up to 40 seconds when shooting for goal.

True. If you timed the moment the umpire gives the free and calls time back on the clock, some players are taking a lot longer to shoot for goal.

Just look at Ben Brown. You can within the rules take 40s to shoot for goal, you just need to begin your approach before 30s.

Cant believe Lynch hurried up a kick with less than 60s on the clock.

The look that Hardwick gave when Dusty did that, is the same one I gave when I saw it too.

Yes it was a total deliberate unnecessary act, almost could have cost them the game too.

If you want a more confident bet on scoring, suggest you watch the 1st quarter to get a feel for the game. There might be the odd quarter that goes for 5+ goals but in wet conditions I fancy this to be tight throughout, similar to the other 2 games in QLD today. Goals will be at a premium tonight.

Carlton surrendered a huge lead to Geelong and were scored against quickly by Essendon and St Kilda.

Dogs had more of the ball in the second quarter than Carlton but couldn't put it on the board.

With the ball pinging around like this, a few lucky bounces can help a team get a big run on.

Blues might run away with it but there's just as much chance the Dogs come home with a wet sail imo.

Good game of footy anyway. This is why I like to punt, to give me something to watch.

Had my best day on the punt that I can remember, just one week after the Geelong / Gold Coast game broke my heart and I wanted to take a spell.

Betts was paying 101-1 for 4 goals, and the Martin 2+ / Betts 3+ multi was 141-1.

yea im regretting putting nothing on 4+ at those odds, but i thought he wouldnt get more than 2g as i thought carlton wouldnt score as heavy as they did. unfortunately i didnt read the game going like it did. but still happy with the small wins.
