Due to the shorter season, we'll again run a single thread for all MVP votes

Voting will open at the completion of our match each round and be available until the day of our next match, and yes the thread title will be updated to reflect what round we are in

Let's stick with the known formula for voting:

5.

Thanks for all the votes to our Round One match

Voting for Round 2 will open at the completion of the Geelong vs Lions which started very promising but looks like we stayed in the rooms after half time

Sorry - I slacked off after that pathetic umpiring effort

Not the result we were hoping for today but a vastly improved performance from previous weeks

Votes for Round 3 against Adelaide are welcome from now

Hell yeah... First win of the season with a 22 point win over the Tigers: 67 def 44

We kicked our highest score of our short AFLW history

Looking forward to the challenge of selecting our 5 best:

5 R. Cranston - 2 goals and some important clearances.
4 M. McDonald - as dazbroncos said, she just reads the game so well.
3 J. Crockett-Grills - hard as nails, provided a new dimension to our midfield this year
2 O. Purcell - contested beast and stoppage goal specialist
1 N. Morrison - loved her contested work today, lots of effective tackles, brought the pressure

HM B Webster and A. O'Çonnor

5. Rocky - clone please
4. Purcell - can't keep her down, always finds a way to impact
3. McDonald (giving her a point penalty for that s**t kick in the 3rd)
2. Crockett-Grills - something of an unassuming player amongst bigger names, but been really solid this year
1. Clarke - got on the end of good work with 2 goals, but also had presence up forward

Clarke was really good, still got a fair way to go but she's just as promising as all our other teenagers ..
