AFLW 2020 AFLW Cats MVP - Round 6 😔

I was in Bendigo today and saw bloody Tigers jumpers everywhere. Of course I had NFI but was certainly wondering. Now I know I am very happy with the girls.

4. Purcell - can't keep her down, always finds a way to impact

2. Crockett-Grills - something of an unassuming player amongst bigger names, but been really solid this year
1. Clarke - got on the end of good work with 2 goals, but also had presence up forward

Bit harsh on Morrison, who I thought was brilliant. So smart and game aware, such attention to detail, like the double shepherd that allowed an easy goal in the second quarter (sorry, can't remember who ran through). No quarrels with Rocky and Purcell being high, but Morrison would have to be top three at least.

Bang on winty - Bella will be a great player, but O'Connor was dominant tonight, her best game for the club.

5. N. Morrison - got better and better as the game wore on; outstanding stamina, her game is a nice blend of inside-and-outside work.
4. A. O'Connor - best game as a Cat, classic ruck's kick-behind-the-play game. Kicked like a mule.
3. O. Purcell - set up a goal to McWilliams in the 3rd through sheer attack on the contest. Interview with her during the game was interesting, can tell she wants to be the best.
2. A. McDonald - quickly and quirkily becoming an important player. Does not fumble. Kicking deceptively solid despite looking horrible. Quick decision maker, uses her body well to allow her to be competitive inside the contest despite a slight frame.
1. R. Webster - this girl will be running alongside Morrison and Purcell for another decade barring injury or misfortune. Runs hard, kicks long, competes; what's not to like? The sidestep is the cherry on top.
