All injury prone players are unlucky I guess. Not a good reason to hold onto anyone. Apart from being incredibly injury prone he also hasn't seized any of his chances and shown us he can make it. Time to move on.

I reckon he was about to have a breakout year last year. And then the break he did get.

I’d give him another year for sure. The guy has elite skills. Something we need desperately.

Elliot probably needs to run in the 2s until he finds some form, he's been totally ineffective in his last 2 games, the cupboard is pretty bare in way of replacements though, Broomhead might be given a crack probably at the expense of Daicos, last chance saloon for him.

How's Atu been going in the VFL?

Agree with everyone who said we need pace and a KPF... I’m just not sure he will be able to make up for his lack of game sense. Obviously a position we need to look at intently in the draft, but considering we may have a few delistings this year, I just feel like it can’t hurt to nab a KPF or two in the rookie from the state leagues to maybe magically fill the gap and do a Ben Brown in the short term.

Liam McBean, Mason Shaw and Jake Riccardi seem to be going okay and aren’t AFL listed. Obviously McBean and Shaw have already been tried on AFL lists, but if the criteria extends so far as make a contest and bring the ball to ground, they might be worth a shot.

Given our lists injury profile. Trading out a guy with chronic knee issues who still has good currency seems like a pretty good idea to me. Enjoy the laugh....

Well one thing is we certainly don't need to find another De Goey or Grundy in the top 20 draft next year (cause we traded it) when we have a hard 31yo two way running midfielder Clubman like Dayne in 2020.

Should set us up for years ahead moving forward that trade.

Richmond gained from injuries this year. Collingwood appears sunk by them. The Pies need a review of their injury management and have a decent clean out coming.

He’s played the most games out of his draft, I think it’s pretty fair to say he’s durable

Crisp, Roughead, Maynard, Phillips, Thomas and Crocker seem fairly resilient.

We've beaten 3 of the current top 4 sides this year.

We lost to the top side back in round 1 by what 7pts.

If we had the injury profile of Brisbane, Geelong and hell even Richmond now we'd be in this Premiership race up to our eyeballs.

We had a mighty victory against the Eagles but the fresh injuries that came out of that game was also the moment we went beyond the tipping point and fell off the cliff.
