briztoon we've discussed Cedric Cox as a possible target for other clubs before. Where is he at?
Playing small defender? Witherden not even an emergency for this week so Cox must be a fair way back.

He was moved forward last year, and looked very good as a small forward in the NEAFL.

Cedric’s biggest problem is he he’s a smooth mover who struggles with the speed of the game at the top level.

If lists are reduced at the end of this season, he unfortunately probably gets delisted.

Ok, in that capacity it seems Coleman is ahead of him now.
Depending on list sizes I wouldn't mind seeing how he goes elsewhere given his talent.

Looking at his NEAFL stats he didn't kick a huge number of goals as a forward in a team that dominated the competition.
Wonder if he would have the endurance to play on a wing.
 
I can see some quality players wanting to join you guys in your rise up the ladder. Zac Williams would be an awesome target for you guys I reckon. Although I really want him at the Lions;) Which potential trade targets would you guys like to see join your team? I don't think Brad Crouch would fill much of a need anymore tbh with how well Rowell and Weller have been playing in the midfield.

Isaac smith would be a tasty little addition but Ideally you'd want to ask the question for Zac Williams even though North are gonna throw 2 Kitchen sinks at him
 
We are in need of another speedy back pocket/half back flanker to eventually replace Harbrow.

I have my doubts whether Joyce can consistently step up. We’ve tried Fiorini there.

Zac Williams is ready made but would cost decent $$$, but probably worth every cent?

I reckon Lemmens needs to reinvent himself in that role
He's fast and furious.Just needs to tone down his attack on the ball.A free in the D50 isn't the same as one in the F50
Can't see him winning a small forward role regularly in the future with Sexton Ainsworth Rankine MacPherson around

Depends how the season goes, what are final positions are and if we get to keep our concessions.
If we could get Williams via trade
Draft DGB
Pre list Davies, and Jeffries.

Absolute dream.

Not sure how we would necessarily get that to happen.

If GCS finish 10th? GWS finish 4th?

Could we go
GCS first (8) + GCS priority second (19)
for
GWS first (14) + Williams

Does DGB get through to 14?
Not many key defenders taken in the top 10 (McAsey aside)

No way AFL is gonna let us keep a priority pick if we don't finish bottom 2, the sooking from other clubs would be immense

I'd take one of the three unsigned GWS boys (O'Halloran, Hately, Caldwell) before chasing Scott. Hately and Caldwell look better in the little I've seen and O'Halloran looked solid in his draft year. (O'Halloran also another Vic Metro captain we could add to our collection lol)

Saad and Essendon pretty far away on their contracts at the moment... ;)

Seriously though, we need some more dash off the HB with Hanley and Harbrow reaching the twilight.
Also with Rory going down again, we probably need another experienced KPD as well.
More midfield class probably wouldn't go amiss either.

They would be the 3 areas I would be focusing on this off season.

Agree with that. Rory going down again is what concerns me the most, so agree another KPD to help out Sam while Graham matures hopefully into that position. Another rebounding defender to replace Harbs and Hanley and help Conor out down back will be needed as well.

I rather trial Peter Wright as KPD, already extend his contract, could be burst or Chris tarrant.

If he is too slow can always swing Ben King back ( he play defend before he drafted by GCS and Max king injured his knee) and move Wright forward, depend on opposition, not every team have Max king or Jeremy Cameron playing for them.
I am not saying will be a success, is a trial move rather than get back third round pick in two years time for 2mp , eg Chris tarrant a brilliant forward for Collingwood and move to Fremantle can't play forward and AA as defender then move back to Collingwood as defender. Chris tarrant is pretty slow off the mark as a forward but as defender he is pretty quick.
