That might have been his last contract. I doubt he’ll get another one

I’d be happy to trade pick 5 for Treloar. We should get Davies & Jeffery for nothing, so really don’t need more kids. We do need a quick midfielder.

He is the type of player we need to look to bring in, use the pick 5 as currency to get it done.

Pick 5 for Perryman?

Pick 14 in 2016 draft , play GF last year and 53 AFL games , age 22 . I think pick 5 is good , consider GCS can prelisted 1 st round talent Alex Davies. Plus top 30 Jeffry. 53 AFL games experience is better than draft top 10 pick and play reserve like Brodie and Wright with high salary and trade out for a bag of chips.

we’re struggling for list spots as is. Guaranteed a gun this way who can contribute from day 1.

Alternatively if Wright desperately wants out, GWS need a key forward. Would rather keep him though given the chance

I love this time of year, this year is even better since there will be so many delisting and deadwood moved on. Big fan of Perryman and pick 5 gets it done easily but would love to see that 5 turn into 10 & 20 or something close and we can get perryman for the 10 and someone like brayshaw for 20 and something else.

Hope to see a big cut this week and we go for a big fish. Finally nice to not be at the bottom with all our players leaving, Essendon, Adelaide, North, even GWS are now experiencing that.

Reckon Gus Brayshaw is a good shout, he gets played out of position at Melbourne who seem to favour Viney. All his good games are when he plays as an inside mid. Rumours suggest he's going to Freo though so might be a non-starter.

It would be alot easier to recruit Perryman but Merrett is 24 , 2x B&F winner, Leadership material and a massive ball getter who runs both ways. Basically Fiorini if he lost 5kg
