DGB or nothing when it comes to KPD at pick 5 in this draft. Rather take Phillips at 5 than Reid. Reid is a pick 12-18 prospect.

I am sure we target all potentially suitable players. Just convince them to come. I still remember when we tried to lure Duncan in Ablett's trade. Even Lang refused to entertain the idea and now he is de-listed.

Those were the days...when Cats fans would come in here telling us Lang was the next Fyfe.

I watch Reid and he is huge, good skills but lacks that 'quick twitch' movement you need to pay in a key position.

He also looks a bit of a finesse / soft player ala his namesake Zac Smith

I’m more concerned that there is the crouch pick to come into play pushing us to 6... then add JUH Phillips and DGB are gone

I feel we either need to trade up or split the pick for to in the 10-15 range

I'm not sure he's 196. He didn't look much taller than Reef, which has just reached 193. But we won't talk about Reef. He needs to stay under the radar...

But yes, JUH is very athletic for his height. They make the Buddy comparisons for a reason.

But neither did Rioli..

Clearly faster than an indoor basketball court where they usually do it?!
Might contribute to a fraction of the sprint times.

I didn't pay a huge amount of attention to Oakleigh last year as I just thought Rowell was Rowell and Anderson was just as good. So I only watched the finals and Phillips had a shaved head then so for me its strange to see him with hair haha

Its where all the AFL players do their 2K, at least the pies players do it on this track every year. Not sure if it makes it easier or around the same. They had to do it outside because of covid. Lucky for me, I could go and watch.

My glacially slow 40 time was a couple hundredths quicker on the running track vs the grass field

Speed is speed though, If you've got it it'll show up.

Yeah for sure.
I ran hurdles at state level back on high school - 100% faster on the tartan.
These guys will still be fast though.
