Grant was a gun. Schwass was better, but Grant was still a gun.

He certainly became a campaigner off the field. But that really has nothing to do with rating his footballing ability. He was a star.

Nothing to do with Schwass, he's an all time great of the club. I watched him plenty and agree he was a better player than Grant.
But suggestions Grant was scared on the field and not a real North person are preposterous. He was a top player in his own right.

Atley's played over 200 so I wouldn't use games played as a guide to ability.
Grant was a very handy footballer. Josh Kennedy for Sydney might get to 300 too.
