I've probably been spoilt by being at the Vic Draft function on these nights for the past 4-5 years, but I don't recall them ever being so slow and boring.

And as for David King, well every single player drafted is already going to be a champion of the game.

This 5 minute thing is nonsense and makes the whole thing unwatchable. 3 minutes should be enough time. It would make viewing more fun with time pressure and gives enough breathing room for the talking heads to gob on about the new draftees without getting too boring.
