Spewing if you were out and recorded the AFL Draft on Fox given the draft telecast went from 7-10pm.

Its already 10pm and we haven't even had pick 34 yet.

The AFL keep talking up these 'events' but as a spectacle they have a lot of work to do.

Honestly, I'm spewing I sat here and watched it.

Yet I'm still sitting here and watching it so go figure.

49 would be about right. Might move up about 3 more spots with bids still to come.

He did hurt his wrist late on this season. And the downside of positional flexibility is not having one defined position of excellence.

Pretty disappointing that the AFL don't have some sort of draft tracker on their website.

49 would be about right. Might move up about 3 more spots with bids still to come.

Pick 24 is 785 points, the discount is 197 points, so 588 points to match. Pick 36 is 502, so 86 points would've come off pick 46 leaving it at 53 (pre any more matching and shuffles). Unless there's been a heap of picks coming out due to matches, I think we've probably gone backwards rather than upwards.

Collingwood have a highly rated father-son prospect next year so their first would get gobbled up anyway. They traded it for 24 and 30, bid on Coleman, then traded back twice, got two future 3rds and drafted Caleb Poulter and Liam McMahon.

I do wonder at times how much of the delay is the AFL (or the broadcaster) dragging things out. Sometimes they seem to all just sit waiting for the buttons to be pressed

I'd like to point out that we have already brought in two top ten draft picks during the trade period. But I know you don't want to hear about it.

Maybe we look back in twelve months.

Pretty disappointed in our trading this year. Feel we have downgraded at every turn. Would have been much better to have held 18 and 19 and next year's 2nd. And for all the fluffing around with late third and fourths this year and next it has accounted for nothing.
