Swap Pick 3 and 21 around. McDonald or Thilthorpe at 3. Wouldn't mind a ruck somewhere as currently our stocks are diabolical.

Don’t draft rucks. They take 8 years. Just pick them up elsewhere in early 20s

Hopefully one of Hollands (super classy mid/forward - although has done an acl) or McDonald (key forward) falls to us. Both would be exactly what we need.

Expect we’ll try to move up our 2nd pick a bit earlier and grab another mid.

Which would leave either McDonald or Hollands to choose from. I want Hollands but think club would be hoping McDonald/Thilthorpe

Yep. Then you can play Lewis in the lumbering Hale role(FWD/Ruck) getting the second tall defender or possibly even the third if Patton plays out of the square.

All of a sudden we are dangerous in the air.

Then we need to bolster what’s going on around the feet with a later pick or two.

And of course, we need more class through the middle.

Pick 3: Inside midfielder
Pick 21: Key forward/defender
Pick 40: Inside midfielder
Pick 46: Downie
Pick 59: Small forward
Pick 63: Small forward

3. Campbell or Hollands (skills are just too good to pass)
21. Reid (skills as a very tall KPD are a point of difference to our team - we lack the KPD height to go with the lynch/Dixon/king types. Not sure he slides to here tho)
40. Carroll (brilliant kick, inside midfielder)
46. Downie
59. Walsh or Smith (project ruckmen)

That’d be a pretty good haul. McDonald would be awesome, but I’d take Campbell or Hollands over him, and try to target a forward that needs a change of scenery (Brander?)

Be weird for Adelaide to go for Mcdonald I’d think especially with their need for class through the middle. Got Fogarty and Himmelberg already as young KPF talent. If they did and it pushed Fogarty out I’d be super keen to have a crack cause I think the kid could be an absolute gun.

We cant lose in my opinion, the top 8 of JUH, Campbell, McDonald, DGB, Hollands, Thilphorpe, Bruhn and Phillips are all in same tier. We will either get a gun Key poistion or mid. Although after watching Day, the rebuild can much quicker if we hit on a high upside player, I'm just trying to figure that out. O'driscoll moves like Bontepelli and is 190cm Athletic mid, so maybe him. I love Jack Carroll

Just watched the U17’s curtain raiser from last year and Elijah Hollands looks fantastic when he gets the ball. Connor Downie also did some really nice things. It’s a shame Campbell is tied to the swans, will be a gun

we need an big bodied outside midfielder with pace with elite kick - honestly we could have Dunstall at FF and the way we deliver the ball in to the forward line he would struggle

Watching Logan McDonald highlights. My God trying to navigate or watch anything on the AFL website is a horrible experience. A dog's breakfast. Utterly appalling.
