Not true. The camera doesn't pick him up because he's on the Hawthorn weights program.

Would anyone be surprised if Hollands was available with our pick and was overlooked? If Sydney select Will Phillips, then I can see Wright going for DGB with pick 4 instead.

I can guarantee you if we had pick 1 it would still be Hollands. We rate him the best player in this draft.
Yes I know, it’s not on record because he didn’t finish top 10 but people who attended said he was pretty much dead last. Do you think combine results are more important than game day?

To get this back on track, I’d love to take Phillips (if we don’t get Treloar). I fear Clarko would turn Hollands into another half back flanker for us.
And I don’t love the idea of taking a key defender with a top pick. Even if he’s a star, you can find reliable defenders in the latter years as we have shown over the last decade.

I know people on here rate Hollands’ and it appears the club does to but to take him over McDonald is madness. No acl and Hollands playing a full year this year (no COVID) and I’m not sure he would be in front of McDonald, let alone with the knee?
Elite, hard working forward dominating against men. And doing Kennedy’s training program this year is a big tick as it speaks to his professionalism.
Happy to be wrong but Hollands’ reminds me of LDU. Both insanely talented but feel Hollands’ will come way back to the back at the top level much like LDU. Where others like McDonald, DGB and Phillips will flourish.

McDonald is irrelevant to us. It won't matter if Adelaide decide to take Hollands first because North will definitely take McDonald then.
I doubt Sydney would pass up on him either if for some reason both Adelaide and North both pass up on him.

‘west Africans as power athletes and East Africans as endurance athletes. Not even the most woke groups ever would tackle that. It’s simply genetics.
I also like CJ cos he’s magnificent to watch, just hoping the long term impact matches that.
