Yep. On the flip side though there are probably going to be a few gems of players slipping through to positions they would not usually slip through to so a smart recruiter could make a killing this year.

Very Good Point and I agree.

Some Recuriters might have some plaeyrs the love but other teams don't rate and with none to little bit of Footy they won't break out in the Draft Year like a Lot have had in the Past

By the sounds of it , Vic Metro kids might not get on the field till October and the Nab national championship is unlikely

Talk of an mini Academy series for 2 weeks in October/November in Coffs Harbour for Swans, GWS, Lions and Suns as long as there is no more lockdown of states?

If we end up going into the draft basing most of our knowledge on what they did in their underage year then there'll be a lot of academy/father-son kids falling under the radar without exposure in their U18 year. Probably be some steals too - the draft bolters that don't get the chance to bolt.

As the SANFL seniors and juniors are playing we have seen our first bolter - Caleb Poulter.

A month out from the Nab league start date , will it be delayed ?????

Feel sorry for the Vic Country kids who could play by that date but are in the dark.

Will definitely be delayed doubtful it even starts. You think theyd need a month of training before they could even play. It would not be fair on the kids to make them play and be judged after 1-2 weeks of football training, plus it also heightens the injury risk, playing without conditioning.

In the future, this will be known as the “lost draft”.

Think the Vic Country kids could play some games , they need to make an announcement as it has a follow on effect whether there will be an interstate championship.

Really see this year as a bit of a crap shoot drafting.
Hard to get a gauge on players.
Will be some huge steals this year later in the draft due to lack of game time.
hopefully recruiters have done there home work a few years ago when they were 16

Just heard McGowan (WA premier)pour cold water on the Afl GF being in Wa as no one from interstate will be allowed in. Means WA would be absent from any championships in October due to border rules
