But Essendons nga kids Cody Brand and Josh Eyre must have huge upside to have interest from about 5 clubs to be bid on in the second round 30ish. Newchurch might get bid in the second or third round.

If Essendon shows McInnes that they really want him and Collingwood can't be bothered matching, then I think McInnes loyalties will change iverniu.

Yeah I know that is best case scenario. I see Borlase being around pick 40. I wouldn’t rule out crows picking up Edwards late if available.

Borlase is a tweener size - again, someone who's probably better as a rookie.

The Crows will have 5 picks before 38 (that's where 40 will push up to). If they take them all, they'll only have one potential rookie spot.

It's a tough decision for them. Borlase isn't top 38, so it might be a bad decision to pass on it or trade it for unders to guarantee getting him. But it is maybe worth taking an extra rookie at a later point instead of taking someone at 38?

Melbourne traded their future first for picks 18/19. Why would they do that just to trade back in to the 2021 draft with a potentially worse pick?
