We could trade 14-16 to bombers for 8-44-77. Since we’re probably paying overs we could ask them to trade 14 back to us for our future first so we don’t risk losing it on a reef bid. So we would end up with 8-14-reef then3 late picks
It's definitely overs to start with (no point even bothering introducing 77 so it's just 8 and 44).
In any case we can't do that sort of deal now that the AFL have closed the loophole around two clubs cooperating via trades to enable one of them to side-step using a higher pick to match a bid, after Sydney used a strategy of trading second round picks out and then back in with West Coast so that they could match the bid on Blakey in the with their later picks back in the 2018 draft.
