Thoughts on Bailey Laurie as small fwd option Knightmare
Callow will be on the board post-30. No need to get a first for him.
I’d kill to have a Rioli at the pies!Laurie probably won't be available in any range the Pies will be picking.
Laurie plays with good energy and effort and gives those second and third tackle efforts. Has good agility and evasion. But then also is a really nice ball user and lowers his eyes and hits those i50 targets. He offers minimal scoreboard impact and has limited scope through the midfield as the contested side of his game is only okay, but otherwise is a handy small forward. I'd like the contested side of his game to improve his probability of a career.
Second round is roughly Laurie's range.
There are enough other options later who on a value proposition for where they're getting picked perspective I'd rather have.
Jackson Cardillo, Will Papley and Pheonix Spicer are the three I like late/rookie.
And if a bid doesn't come on him early, Maurice Rioli Jr certainly by the second round I'd be bidding on in a hurry. He's another Daniel Rioli, or maybe a slightly better version.
I’d kill to have a Rioli at the pies!
What’s the slight on Callow’s game that has him more 2nd round than 1st?

Not great mobility, more of an old-school forward (though better than some in recent years) with an elite contested mark. I quite like Callow and would be happy to use a pick in the 30s onwards on him for value, but yeah questions over that athleticism and upside really (194/100 already). What’s the slight on Callow’s game that has him more 2nd round than 1st?

If you think Reef is a bad apple. You should hear what Nick Daicos is like![]()
Nick who? Never heard of him - does he play for the Manangatang U18 C team?
Hey mate leave the Manang (& now Tooleybuc) Saints alone. I’ve got connections up there.
Daicos would struggle to be their water boy.

Phantom Form Guide extra: The next 15 prospects
Earlier this week AFL.com.au's draft expert Callum Twomey ranked his best 25 draft prospects. Here are the next 15.www.afl.com.au
Not surprising with Lord. He was a back end of the draft pick at the start of the year and obviously nothing has changed. Baldwin always hard to rate after his injuries.Intresting NO Baldwin and Lord
Yeah. Slightly inconvenient given where reef may or may not go!So we have pick 14? I think it is.
