We could say that about almost anyone in the draft. But the thing that I like about him is his mobility and that, it was reported a few days ago, he has recently put on weight, which is always a good sign.

I would still take him with one of our first picks, we need to take a punt on a developing tall of some quality

Do you actually watch Wills play? He's about to turn 28 and he's complete garbage at everything except tackling when the ball is in the centre square. There would be two dozen mature mids in the 2nds competition who could do a better job and much younger too.

Yes I've watched Wills play and yes I know his limitations. I've also had a look at our list as it stands and realise that our depth is an issue so if push comes to shove then we may still need Wills for depth if we have injury issues.

We've already had 10 players leave the club with potentially another couple to come (Appleby, Langdon) so we're already pushing the cart uphill to fill list spots even with the change to list sizes so we can't delist everybody.

I'm not excited about it either but you don't really have to read the tea leaves to see Wills will more than likely get another year.

I'd be excited if we drafted him and would be happy for the club to trade up to get him. Despite being built like a preying mantis, jeez he looked good in that video - can do it all. Even if he can't bulk up, he could end up like Westhoff or could still be a KPD like Dustin Fletcher

Weirdly, he kicked a set shot on both feet... Why would you kick a set shot from your non-preferred foot? And it wasn't even to improve the angle...
