Well we might too considering it's just Derek Hine leftBloke needs all the help he can get![]()

I've heard from a reliable source within the industry that Essendon were considering making a bid. But at the same time, Collingwood have basically said they're not committing to him so they're playing a game of chicken at the moment.
There's some belief Reef cops a bid before Lachie Jones, though most expect if it's not Essendon, it probably won't be before that pick. The only reason it has grown legs is that Essendon need a big-bodied inside mid, and after doing a podcast on the exact topic of 190+ midfielders, the only top 30 players who fit that bill are McInnes and Poulter effectively.
I reckon there's a way we could get 8, deal with Essendon with two of our picks, they could pick up Poulter at #14 or #16 (as not to have to use a Top 10 pick on him) and then we can take Reef with whatever our next pick is.
I mean Adrian Dodoro has subscribed to our Draft Guide so I'll just quickly start rubbishing Reef now![]()

I'll just design two guides, one to send to Derek and one rubbishing the players we want to everyone else![]()

But why would north give up pick 2 where they can get mcdonald, for our picks?I Can’t see us trading any pricks pre Draft.
I think we will have had a number of discussions with teams around pick swaps for the draft night.
I think any of these are possible on trade night depending on Teams initial picks. Most pick swaps favour the team trading higher picks so expect to be out in a points scenario of around 400-600 points if we swap.
If the Crows go Thilthorpe I can see us trading picks 14,16 & next years first for pick 2 and 30 or 39. ( That would be an estimate 700 point loss but would give us McDonald and enough for Reef )
We could trade the Bombers pick 16 and next years first for 8/44. This would be to get a Cox or Reid I believe still hoping Reef gets past pick 14, to give us another pick.
Again we could trade pick 16/ next years first to the Crows for 9/23. The Same as above re Cox / Reid.
lastly we could go for Norths pick 11/30 for our 16/next years first pick. This would only happen if there is a slider and we can pick up a key Tall .
I’d like Cox / Henry or Macrae and Reef with hope of a Carroll slider
Because they can bring in 5 first round picks over 2 years rather than 3. They might want to spread the risk as they have a thin list. But why would north give up pick 2 where they can get mcdonald, for our picks?

That's good, you never know if there gonna be good or notThe Draft will end with just Collingwood and North Picking Players
Kind of says it all that he’s using external references rather than backing his own judgement....Bloke needs all the help he can get![]()

I think Daniel WellsWTF? That’s a massive red flag if true because his views essentially can’t be challenged. It basically makes him the most powerful person in the club! I knew we lost Milesi and Rendell throughout the year, but I assumed we had others step in to replace them on lower salaries...
I can’t really comment on your earlier post because my draft knowledge is essentially ant like compared to your own, but logically speaking if it’s because of need it kinda makes sense. Although going needs based early is rare if you were ever going to it would be when you have a trio of picks.

God this year has gone so quick but draft day is taking forever.
Just thinking along those lines, could we swap 14,16, 2021 1st & 2nd for GWS 10, 13, 20 & 29.I like the deal with Adelaide better where we get 9 , 22 and 23 for this years and next years first

hahaha thats so right.God this year has gone so quick but draft day is taking forever.
Just thinking along those lines, could we swap 14,16, 2021 1st & 2nd for GWS 10, 13, 20 & 29.
Pick 10 could be used, if Dons bid on McInnes (and not go into deficit), or Cox/Macrae, Pick 13, Reid, Pick 20. Cook/Ford or if need be McInnes, Pick 29. Callow or Baldwin.
We would still have our 21 2nd, 3rd & 4th which would go a long way to securing N. Daicos.
GWS still have 3 x 1st (14,15,16), and pick up a 2021 1st & 2nd. We get insurance if reef is bid on and 3 other picks under 30.
Yeah it's a weight off the back now. Haha, now for the big event, and then onto next year!Well done Pete Pie 4 Life, once again the guide is a thing of beauty.
