Are you sure? I think that was in the days when players often stayed interstate for the year after being drafted, becasue you didn't actually have to nominate for the draft to be drafted. I think he was drafted by Brissy. Then dominated in the SANFL and that was said when he agreed to go up and play for Brissy for a year.

No, pick trades were put on hold last week as the AFL wants as much action on draft night as possible.

Clubs can start trading picks as soon as the draft commences, although I'd imagine that they have probably all been instructed to hold off until JUH is led off stage, so that the AFL / Foxtel can milk the moment to the nth degree.

They can trade them right throughout the draft. I'm not sure if they can trade them now. AFL would probably prefer the trades to happen during the draft for a bit more drama.

If it's any guide Foxtel have three hours scheduled, but with the first round likely to take up half of that I can't see them getting through 50-55 picks that quickly.
 
With 3 Hours for Fox Footy Given could last a long time.

Just Hope they show all the Picks and not the Hosts after the 1st Round like they use to

They're coming, no doubt.

Personally, I've spent so many drafts losing my mind at the lack of KPPs that I've got nothing left to melt. Looking forward to us drafting some obscure 181cm mid/forwards and a former Greco-Roman wrestler who played three games for Bumf*ck High School but has a "high ceiling".

We could do 2-3 Trades All Up tonight.

Try and Trade for a Pick Above Reef and try and get into the 2nd or Early 3rd Round of this Draft
