I like the McMahon pick as a 196cm KPD with speed and a good leap. Needs to fill out body-wise obviously but he's got a lot of potential.

Henry, Macrae, Reef, Poulter, McMahon + a small crumbing forward or another KPF (Kolar, Baldwin or Callow) is a pretty decent haul.

We're not in a bad position next year either with 1 x 2nd, 3 x 3rd and 1 x 4th round picks equating to 1800+ points if the rough math I just did in my head is correct.

This thread feels like a room full of kids on Xmas morning.

Good to see a bit of positivity about the place, even if it's only fleeting.
They gutted the supporters with the trade failures.
And the realisation that we were overpaying ordinary players. An absolute cluster****.
They owed us.
They appear to have deliverEd.

My only concern is that we currently only have 1830 points for next year's draft. A bid at pick 1 for Daicos will be 570pts short.

I know we can trade in for a 2022 pick or go into deficit but [emoji2369]
How is it that we can know our points value until we know where teams finish? For example having Adelaide’s future third, are we just assigning that an “average” third round pick value?

As badly as everyone else.

A lot of surprises.

I'm covering bids on twitter for those wanting to follow along for some quick thoughts.

Draft review + grades will be up tomorrow morning first thing on ESPN.
In your and all other phantom draft defense, this was always going to be extremely difficult to get right given the lack of footy played this season.

I still think there will be potential gems late in this draft as we don't really know who has matured/improved over the season.

I was just going off this year's ladder order. Hard to go off much else.
