List Mgmt. 2020 Draft

I generally keep a pretty close eye on our potential draft prospects, but with covid this year I haven’t really bothered doing any research whatsoever.
Does anyone have a shortlist of names who we may be looking at?

A good thing about covid is the unknown. we could possibly get a top 10 talent with our first pick... who would know?

Unfortunately, that's the thing none of us have much of a clue.

I have hung my hat various times on Ford, Carroll, Trew and because I saw him on 9 News, and because I like sucking up to Grav Callow.

Interesting that none of the phantom drafts floating around seem to have many mature age players being taken from the SANFL or WAFL.

he's a bit slow and lumbering. WAFL seniors numbers arent exactly impressive. for example compare his numbers to fisher.

Wouldn't mind us picking up Sam Wundke as a mature age player, appears to go ok in the backline. Around the 25year old mark, which is about the right age.

We'd only want a 25yo if he can take a spot in a top 4 team immediately. The chances of that are almost zero.

Nothing has changed my opinion from last year in respects to we need a decent young ruck to learn from Ryder and we need a key defender to now learn from Frawley. I do have faith in our staff they will get it right whatever they do.

I was hoping with Frawley/Carlisle bringing him up to speed on AFL, he not being to far away from filling their role.

I tend to think that players need to be in the elite environment from a certain age or their improvement trajectory just can't get them to where they need to be.
Of course the're are exceptions, but on average it's just harder for them to make it.

I wouldn't be against him as a rookie to have a look at, but only if Clav is deemed a bust.
