I know this will polarise a lot of opinions but hear me out.

With all the players possibly on the move that are affordable in regards to trade value and I see upside in as a future player is Jayden Hunt.

He reminds me a little of Michael Osborne. Explosive speed, can kick 3 or 4 in a game then disappear and then pop up and do something magical to lift the side.

For some real outside pace, bite and ability inside forward 50 to get on the end of them he is one I would like us to be looking at.

Clarko could be the man to bring the best out of someone like Jayden.
Yeah I suggested Him , kicked 4 against the bombers in the last game and applied some great pressure. His been playing mostly as a small fwd I think. Would be good on the wing which is his natural position

Maybe if he agreed to shelve the Pat Cash headband. Seriously though was he the one that kicked a huge goal a couple of years ago? Thinking it was like a 60m+ one after the siren or something like that.

Edit: Should’ve visited YouTube first. It was who I was thinking of.

With all the players Carlton are linked to a player that I think was on the outer during parts of the season was petrevski seton. Would he be gettable and if yes what would it take.
Where does he play in our side & whom does he replace?

going off the team that played in round 18. Harry Morrison on the bench.

I think he is also someone that can add to our midfield rotations and play high half forward, half back and pinch hit as a small forward.
Harry Morrison’s not going to get a whole
Lot of interest in this market. Would likely survive on our list a little longer as depth which is a fair indication of where he’s at in my opinion..
I’m interested in Brad Crouch state of play.. I imagine The crows being in clubs ears saying you take him on for overs we’ll look after you in return.. example Sydney give Crouch a 5 year 650-700 contract. Nets crows pick 2. Sydney swap their now pick 4 and their second rounder for pick 2 and get their target and their academy selection isn’t bid before their pick.. Hawks could do the same deal.. if the argument is the AFL wouldn’t sign it off who says Crows just promise a golden deal in 2021 for the club that helps them out.. Whole point is the system is seriously flawed and promotes corruption...

He's a Clinton Young no thanks.

Midfield, he has a future at AFL level as a mid. Carlton are just insiting on playing him off the half back flank because...??? Well who knows but he has the class and skills and at the right price i would love to take a chance on him.

Seemed to be out of favour this year too. Struggled to get games, so you’d think he’s gettable.

Coolingwood have picks 12, 35,39,68 - Is 12 enough for Gunston?

**** no. I genuinely think Gunston is close to untradeable. Finishes second in the Coleman in a side with arguably the most stagnant ball movement in the AFL. Was one of the few players who stood up when the chips were down and kept us in multiple games through his efforts. Two years to go on his contract. He should be our next captain.

If Collingwood want him they'll have to pay overs. And if they're not willing to do that I'm more than happy for them to bugger off.

Collingwood: Jack Gunston and 43
Hawks: 12, 35 and Future 1st

or could tell them to get pick 12 to the top 6

think we must keep Gunners -we need his leadership and goal kicking in a pretty disjunctional forward line - been durable and actually believe if he wants it should be our next skipper - actually need see him a little pissed off at times with the delivery into the forward line but gives his blood, sweat and tears to the HFC

Trade Hypothetical That Doesn't Involve Trading All Our Good Players For Draft Picks

I'm bored at work.
  • (DFA) Cedric Cox
  • Pick 21 + 2021 Fourth Round Selection --> (Richmond) Riley Collier-Dawkins + 2021 Fourth Round Selection
  • 2021 Third Round Selection --> (Melbourne) Brayden Preuss + Pick 62
  • Jonathon Ceglar + Pick 59 --> (GWS) Pick 46
  • Pick 46 --> (Geelong) Quinton Narkle
Pick 4: Elijah Hollands (Note: Bruhn/Phillips more likely but I'm a masochist so for the purpose of this hypothetical he slides)
Pick 40 + Pick 43: Connor Downie
Pick 62: Mature age player

B: Scrimshaw McEvoy Frost
HB: Impey Frawley Hardwick
C: Smith Dawkins Sheils
HF: Gunston O'Brien Wingard
F: Bruest Lewis Narkle
Fol: Preuss Mitchell O'Meara
Int: Worpel Day Hollands Burgoyne
Emg: Greaves Cousins Patton Scully

Still have multiple areas we'd need to address (most notably we need to pray our tall forwards improve) but Rome wasn't built in a day.
