We were in the (un)fortunate position of having a couple+ years of savings sitting in the bank due to our 3 week trip to South America being cancelled. Luckily had a few grand worth of flights refunded recently. Thought stuff it, let's go to the GF regardless of Port being in or not and rest easy if we win the PF. Meant to be somewhere in Peru today

On the news last night it said tickets for the PF would go on sale Monday but couldn't confirm PF was a friday night.

Just looked at my OP, and I put up the Sales Dates from the AFL website and for week 3 it said

WEEK 3: October 12 - 17
Friday Night Final - Monday, October 12
Saturday Final - Tuesday, October 13

Travis Auld confirms we are playing PF on the Friday night and Brisbane get the Saturday PF game. Tickets go on sale Monday week.

Semi Finals
Richmond v Saints Friday night - winner plays Port
Geelong v winner of tonight Saturday night - winner plays Brisbane

So winner of both semi finals get a 7 day break to play their PF's, but for semis

Richmond 7 day break, Saints 6 days
Geelong 9 day break, winner of tonight's game 7 days.

There's no way conservative Marshall is going to approve of Adelaide Oval being at 40k capacity. Personally I think it should be full house - any case is in quarantine and we haven't had community transmission is ages.

Being realistic, I am expecting them to up the capacity to 30k. Anything above that would be a pleasant surprise.

No they didn't. Marshall has several times since late June said upto 25k, and when he dropped it down to 10k the day of the Bulldogs game said we never got to 25k.

The best we can hope for is to match Perth's 60% of 60k ie 36k for tonight's final. 30k might be allowed.

Marshalls a ****ing moron. In March they said they hoped for 45k best case scenario. Why it even dropped for the bulldogs game made no sense when it was a border issue and no community transmission for months.

It's overrated at the moment. Still, as a health care worker I'm happy I'm working here and not Europe and that we actually have a government that puts health first. I'm going to try get a exemption but I don't bet on it. I'd pay a exorbitant amount for quarantine if it meant getting to a Grand Final.

Just chill, be glad that fans can go. I'm no liberals fan but thank **** we are not like Victoria due to complacency, ignorance and complete arrogance over this pandemic. All you can say if you lucky to go to a game, then show your A grade passion as happy clappers aren't welcome.

Not unless they took out a Platinum upgrade membership with Port. When I had AO memberships this is what I had but not sure if they are still available.
