With the kids and to get them home for dinner and bed there are only two home games all year we can go to which start around 1pm-2pm. Otherwise it’s just too late. For us the notion of family friendly just doesn’t exist. And on top of that Etihad is a loud crap experience. Thank god for the VFL and AFLW.

If we are going to play finals we have to win our 50/50 games. To me the fixture looks pretty tough on last year and new players take time to settle.

North -50/50
West Coast -Probable loss
Richmond- Probable loss
Melbourne -50/50 maybe even 60/40 as we are pretty good at kicking them off
Geelong- Probable loss
Adelaide 50/50
Collingwood- probable loss
Carlton- 50/50 they improved late and aren't a walk up any more
GWS- Probable loss
Freo- Likely win in Melbourne
Port- Probable Loss
GCS at TIO- 50/50 based on last years 1 point wins

I don't see why we cant beat Dogs, Essendon and Hawthorn again. We accounted for them all this season, no reason why we cant do it again.

Also I just want to point out the last time we played one game at the MCG it was also against Melbourne and in round 22.




We went 19-0 at the start of that year and finished on top of the ladder.

And played a “home” final against Collingwood in Week 1.

No point playing finals unless your team is able to beat anybody when things go right.
We have had a lot of young players, playing good one week and bad the next.
We need to get the consistency to the level where they all play good at the same time.
