The article I read had some Renault big wig playing it down by saying no team has a complete car at this stage of the season and that they are actually further along than they were last year.

Obviously there'll be big changes to all the cars between now and the first race, but I'd agree with you that it doesn't sound good

With the long standing sore arse everyone has over Ricciardo joining Renault, even something that isn't a big deal is looked at cynically.

Not having a car (if true) 1 week before testing turned out to be a pretty big deal for Williams last year.

China postponed, and an Italian health organisation wants to sue Ferrari and confiscate their new car over circumventing tobacco advertising... Good luck with that. Can't think of an easier way to alienate yourself from the rest of the country.

Wonder if the Vietnam Grand Prix will also be postponed. The circuit is just over 300km from the Chinese border, and the GP is scheduled in about 8 weeks time. This coronavirus outbreak will surely get worse before it gets better?

Let’s be real about the Chinese F1 GP. It isn’t postponed, it’s cancelled.
No real way of slotting it back into the calendar considering the tightness of the schedule.
