George Hewitt will play his sidekick, hitching a one-way ride to Adelaide for no other reason than -- like most of the league -- he hasn't signed a contract? The hot favourite for the sound track is music from the Bee Gees?

I'm amazed by how many commentators, espevially CH7 ones, who watch footy for a living and dont understand or are so often 'confused' by the rules of the game.

That or its just bad faith projecting, I dont know which is worse.

He’s 31 going on 32 at the start of next season. In a club that’s rebuilding his time is up. Good career but like many number 1 draft picks there isn’t a lot of success to show for it.

The ultimate what if player. If he went to Adelaide a year earlier, the Crows probably have a flag or go a lot closer. Went a year too late.
