Lol,that was 2019.Agree seriously to play 3 or 4 games with a broken hand deserves the award.
If the award is for biggest moron playing through an injury then surely Naismith playing after a torn ACL would be up there

I didn't think that was what the award was for

An article on AFL website (sorry I can't link the article, absolutely no idea how to) states that they are still a long way from settling on list sizes for next year, I find that mind boggling!
There are now ten teams who's seasons have finished, soon to be twelve, and those mongooses STILL haven't decided how many players the teams can can have on their lists next year! How are these clubs supposed to start work on re forming their teams?
Surely this should have been a priority to sort out during the season, it wasn't like coronavirus hit two weeks ago!

Probably waiting for Eddie to tell them

If I had an ongoing disappointment with the Bloods is our medical care of our players (apart from the likes of Rampe playing 4 weeks with broken hand ;) ).
Why can't our medical staff talk to the Lions?

Harris Andrews tore his hamstring in the Lions' round 15 clash against Collingwood and was initially expected to miss up to six weeks.
...
"I got a little bit of training in this morning and will have a really good hit-out on Friday," he said.
"If everything goes to plan and I tick a few boxes, I'll be ready to go."
Andrews said he had been "pretty aggressive" with the rehab, something the Lions have done with hamstring injuries to any player.
...
The 23-year-old was running two days after the tear, slowly, and doing strength work shortly after.
"The way the club handles hamstrings is probably a little bit different to what some other clubs go through.
"We're pretty aggressive in the way that once you do your 'string you get moving pretty quickly.

Totally agree and i think old mate Wolfgang would agree as well , It's been this way for awhile . A slight Hammy is 3weeks , but if your a Swan it's indefinite .

Injury prevention and management definitely seems to be one of our weaknesses, has been for a while. Though we're not alone in that regard, not by a long shot, and we do cop a fair whack of collision injuries which can't be avoided in this game, there are some teams that just do it better. It doesn't feel like that long ago the Lions were quite bad at it, hopefully we can learn our lessons sooner rather than later.

Steve J back to GWS WALKED , OR PUSHED ?
I wonder, looking at where both clubs are at its easy to think he must have been pushed as you would assume he is on the cusp of seeing his work come to some sort of fruition next season and you would imagine he would want to stay around for that. It is Stevie J though so who knows?

Bigger question is who replaces him. There is a literal truckload of very handy assistants looking for work right now.

If he walked straight into GWS it would suggest that it was his decision.

Why are Norf dropping BBB like a bag of s@#t. Earlier in the year 3 x $800K and then go and find another club. Possible poor advice by an agent, again.
