It's February! Meaning that it's the FOOTY SEASON AGAIN! With the cricket and tennis ending this week, we can get back to the game that we love to moan about and what better way of doing that than constructing a Best 22? Over the month of February, we as a board will vote on who we think are the best loose bunch of character defects that best represent each role on the footballing field. In the poll above are every player I've seen listed as a midfielder or ruckman in SuperCoach, DreamTeam and the Best 22 thread (Though I did have to cut the Category B rookie due to poll size limit). Thomlison will play through the wing, whether he is named to start there or starts on the bench doesn't matter in footy these days. Naming the traditional centre line and rucks/rover is obsolete, you pick a group of blokes who play midfield and they spend more time running on and off the ground into position.

I feel like switching to that. I put trac in instead of Salem but only to indulge him since it seems generally rumoured that he would like to play more midfield

Yeah but Trac will probably start half forward and drift into the midfield and he can swap with Harmes who's a very dangerous forward.

Dude! I'm aware of all that I'm just not convinced we need Tomlinson on the field. I have a sneaky suspicion he is not all that. I suppose I could have been clearer

We’ve gone out and “bought” Tomlinson through FA, we tried 15 players through the wings in season 2019, provided he is fit Tomlinson, 100% he plays through the wing. Whether it works or not and if he will justify his price tag, time will tell.

Tomorrow at 3 and... tomorrow at 3. Headless had these be a week long so I was gonna keep it largely the same. February is perfect for that since 76% of the time, February is only 4 weeks long.
