It definitely had Mike Whitings name on it when I clicked on the link yesterday. Even though I realised it was the article from the NEAFL website. When I first read it, I thought I did too.

Good to know our standard is up with a VFL team.
Tom Berry clearly BOG.
About as good as it gets at this stage:Bit slack of the club not to let us supporters know how our beloved NEAFL team performed besides the final score.........lift ur game Lions.
This is what you have all been waiting for.

Also a few photos of our guys chasing blue jumper guys.
I suppose if the Lions did one it would have been the reverse

Wouldn't really expect it to considering it is for Carlton members, just shows where our comms department is at considering wwe have heard nothing about it iirc apart from a tweet.Tells us nothing about our guys.

Not all that surprising that we wouldn't have video coverage of an interstate NEAFL practice match.Wouldn't really expect it to considering it is for Carlton members, just shows where our comms department is at considering wwe have heard nothing about it iirc apart from a tweet.
A coaches summary would be enough though right. And that takes little effort to pull together.

They sort of did that when the NEAFL was split in two conferences a few years back and the premiers from both the Northern and Eastern conferences played off...which the Lions won of course (back in the Ace Cornelius days).Still reckon it would be great to see the winners of the neafl, vfl, sanfl and wafl play off at the end of the year.
or at the start of next season as pre-season games...kill 2 birds with one stone.Still reckon it would be great to see the winners of the neafl, vfl, sanfl and wafl play off at the end of the year.
I have a suspicion the NEAFL team might end up alongside the NAB Cup team as being reigning premiers in perpetuity.NEAFL team going well haven’t lost a game since September 1 2018.
Back to back, reigning premiers in perpetuity.I have a suspicion the NEAFL team might end up alongside the NAB Cup team as being reigning premiers in perpetuity.
Heard something in particular Mr Ripper or just gut feel from recent reports?I have a suspicion the NEAFL team might end up alongside the NAB Cup team as being reigning premiers in perpetuity.
Yep. 13 reserves, with the rest of each team made up of the top 17, 18 and 19 year old academy kids. Can just play the GWS, GC and Sydney teams on rotation. Which is basically what we do
