Flynn is not ready to be the no.1 ruck even though when the NEAFL was on Briggs brought something that Flynn doesn't
Currently out on the Ruck rankings both Mummy and Sauce up ranked 23rd and 25th, this doesn't cut it
With all the players we are possibly loosing come end of the season an A grade ruckman is a must

Somewhere in the back of my head, I get the feeling we keep Williams , Perryman, maybe even Corr ( but hopefully Connor Idun covers him otherwise).
We lose Hately and possibly one of XO/ Caldwell.
But we lose a big name with value in order to get a ruckman so desperately needed.
Josh Kelly. We might be looking at his last two games for the club. This is just my feeling, but it is continually reinforced that our salary cap excess is by far the worst in the league. What gives? Something must.

Don’t forget Reid and Keeffe, they will be captain and vice captain.
Who is available on the ruckman side of things under trade/FA however?
The other option is go all in on Flynn and Briggs next year and Sauce only to be called on in case of emergency (a bit like the role Tom Campbell is playing at North).
Potentially a big miss not going hard at Pittonet last off season.
Maybe draper at Essendon?

Watching from afar, most of the season he has seemed uninterested, I would think due to the slow ball movement. Would you trade him to Adelaide for pick 1, I note Dartmoor is closer to Adelaide then Melbourne.
I would throw the kitchen sink at Draper, dekoning ladhams as you have draft picks plus a Finlayson, hately to get a deal done.
Caldwell is a must keep

I agree the club needs to be aggressive in working whats best for the Club and i would hope there are some big moves made by the club this off season
XOH, Riccardi, Green and Caldwell need to be kept
It will be very interesting to see how many games Green gets the next 2 weeks
To me Cogs is the worry but that's for another thread regarding where he fits in our lineup etc etc

I'd be happy with a somewhat decent clean out. Doesn't have to be outrageous like get rid of Kelly and Cogs, but something that'll bring some fresh ideas (on field and in the coaches box) and add to the character of the group.
If we could be aggressive in targetting a real back line leader that'd be good, someone that can play tall or small and be a POD. He's unattainable but a Tom Stewart would be perfect imo.
When it comes to trading/ FA, the only untouchable players imo are Greene, Cameron, TT, Whitfield and Taylor, would prefer to keep Caldwell, Ash, Green, O'Halloran and Perryman too. Obviously don't trade guys for peanuts but if acceptable offers come in don't put them in the bin straight away.
A Ruck target I'd love to go for is Bailey Williams from WCE, rated him in his draft year and don't think he's getting ahead at WCE anytime soon, whereas he'd be best 22 for us pretty quickly. Soldo or Nankervis as well might be gettable targets as well, and have the added benefit of that inside Richmond culture (could have a BEllis effect)
Some more small forward depth would be good as well, well quality depth rather.
Pretty obvious I'm an advocate for drafting and I think there'll be some gem sliders due to the lack of footy for the Vic kids, and I feel there's quite a few under rated SA kids in general

Agree. Is he carrying an injury? Looks a shell of himself. Hopefully he’s back in form in 2021 and at ease with the captaincy.

I don’t think he is, He just hasn’t been able to get back to his best. Have no doubt an off-season and normal 21 he will be back.

Exactly he has been one of our best for our entire existence before a year that has been so foreign that it barely resembles AFL, I'm certainly not throwing him out.

There is a rumour going around that you guys are into Nankervis and that we are into Perryman. Something involving those two players could possibly take place
Perryman is pretty slow. I'd be surprised if he suits the manic Richmond high speed game plan.
