This is Part 1

The thread is continued in part 2:

DGB is the best WA talent.

Happy with him to play reserve key position for 4 years until Hamling retires.

Hamling, Pearce and Logue has all been injured for long stretches.

He’d be straight in best 22. No waiting around Pearce now Hamling both seem serious injuries that don’t go away in a career

2020 first rounder + Cerra for Cripps. Who says no?
Cripps, his manager and Lloyd

Cerra, his manager and Bell

me, Alcock and Garlick

Dramatic I know but Cripps ain’t going nowhere... brutally least of all Freo.

Until we can demonstrate we are ahead of blues in their rebuild, which I reckon we are about 3 years behind.

That’s strong stats against men.
Darling was doing that with West Perth, I'll concede that the off field drama played
straight into WC hands.
But if Big Mac tests well, he's going first and Georgiades is a good example.
With only him, Tilthorpe, DBG? Callow, Baldwin, forward targets the draft isnt
Littered with options.
A regular avenue to goal wins flags, it's VFL proven and can make a good team
Great.
10 years with a good spine, you can chase other targets, top up, and force
that window open.

Nah I don't think he is worth pick 3 unless we got 6 or 7 back.
Geelong have a pretty good retention rate with WA boys.
Besides Kelly who was always a flight risk, Kersten not wanted, the cattery is a well run
Machine off the field.
Besides they will target GC, GWS boys associated with the area, ie our Darcy.

With the WAFL and colts all due to take place and the NAB league uncertain, expect WA Prospects to surge to the top of the draft order, given they will have more exposed form than the vics

South Australia start soon as well.

Can’t help but think most that those ranked really high before the season starts would remain so. You may just see the top end WA and SA rise up 5-10 spots in the order. That’s not necessarily a good thing - just makes the draft enough more unpredictable.

As much as I would love Cripps in purple, we'd realistically have to give up a lot for him, and some pieces we don't want to.But you can never rule out a move anywhere, because money talks.
