McKay has stopped following Carlton on instagram and now following North, guessing means nothing but is interesting

Congrats to North for making the tough decisions to delist 11 players.
I don't think Carlton have the courage to make the tough calls that are needed, unfortunately.
Why congratulate a club for denying that they needed to rebuild, having a terrible season and then admitting that they need to rebuild.

That not bravery it's stupidity.

You don't think Carlton has the courage to make mass changes during a rebuild?

Some people have incredibly short memories - have a look at the number of changes we made over the first 3-4 years of our rebuild.

Thank God you're here and we don't have to bother playing next year.
We are so lucky to have all knowing supporters like you.
I don't think he to far off-- I expect 9-11 unless we nail the recruiting-- who in the current side outside Mackay setterfield De koning do you see BIG upside in

I know Carlton supporters love to b*tch and moan but the recent agitating about Teague is totally unwarranted and quite frankly pretty concerning.

The SOS camp seem to be not-so-quietly barracking for some kind of gloating, "I told you so" situation to play out...

Really had enough of this viewpoint. It's a tough process, getting all your ducks in a row to win an AFL flag.

How frustrated would this supporter group be with a team like GWS? Absolutely stacked to the eyeballs with talent yet going nowhere. Or Melbourne? Prelim finalists, now back in the pack. *?

Can we not appreciate that Teague took over a 1-11 side and has done some pretty good things? You'd think now might be the time to show some unity and back the coach in, he's doing a decent job with a list that still has a lot of holes.

so true Sharks !

This Pretty much sums up my sentiments as well. We've come from a long, long way back let's not get too impatient now Blue baggers..
Teague does comes across as a deep thinker for mine (although doesn't give too much away at the pressers)
I hope he is as innovative as Sheedy and as hard edge as Parkin but most importantly a modern tactician with match day nous

Go Blues

Just started to come around to thinking that SOS didn't rebuild/retool the list as astutely as I and others thought.

Also don't think we are as close to a flag as I had hoped either. We have be realistic that out list still is devoid of constant quality in several departments.

Do we go for a quick fix like the Saints did last year with their haul of Hill, Jones, Butler etc or keep building from the draft or a mix of both ?

Ben Brown on the move too, but north will get a pick or player back in a trade

Probably Ben stealing his phone.
Collingwood need a key forward...

They also need cap space

Charlie Curnow, Brodie Kemp, I fully expect Cripps to have a much better season, Zac Fisher hopefully plays a full season. I really rate Caleb Marchbank and hope he can get on the park, you would expect Philp, Cottrell and honey to improve. Jack Silvagni has basically had no season just when I expected him to explode. There's probably more but there's a good start.

Which 11 players would you cut

Keep in mind North need a rebuild, while we look like adding players as best 22

Don't take anyone we dropped they're all spuds maj was just kicking on and never going to be back to 2018 standard, wood is a "could have" the only real shock was crocker because he didn't get a sniff, cheers 👍

Thanks for the heads up, my question is what the hell happened to Ben Jacobs? His 2018 was unreal but nothing since. Are his injuries that bad?

Not sure how I went to edit and deleted instead, Ben Jacobs is an absolute gun and single handed reason we beat Richmond in the 2015 finals, he has an extremely bad sinus problem after that game with Geelong that throws your balance and all sorts off, he'll never play footy again sadly.

Geelong was his last match but it started with Brisbane.

Jacobs said his issues stemmed from a “whiplash” incident on the field against Brisbane in 2018, and has dealt with severe face and neck pain, headaches, blocked ears and pressure in his head ever since.

"I had none of these symptoms before I hit my head (at Marvel Stadium), so since then it has been a combination of things,” Jacobs said in an interview in 2019.

If North offered their first round pick (1 or 2) for Harry, you would have to think about it.

Please talking significant upside to go to next level not naming the list and hoping .. the recruits haven't even played in a full side in the last twelves months .. and I will ask again who in the current side you see lifting us to the next level --- please don't name injured players and untried players -- I don't believe Newman has much improvement anyways and players like Walsh and weitering already playing at a high level -- cripps hasn't got two gears left either
