Stop playing the man, deflecting and answer the question

So rather than deflecting, tell me which players have left a club, being a best 22 player, to being a best 22 player at another club in their preferred position

If you you can't name the players, move on

Would Shaun Higgins count?

Lobb is playing the exact same role, forward, chop out ruckman

He has gone on record numerous times saying GWS wanted to play him predominantly as a ruckman pinch hitting up forward; he wanted the opposite role which Freo would provide him (and GWS couldn't)...

I can't believe I actually could be bothered looking it up, but this is the round 23 team from 2018 (the year he was traded):

GWS
B Jeremy Finlayson, Phil Davis, Adam Tomlinson
HB Adam Kennedy, Nick Haynes, Harry Perryman
C Lachie Whitfield, Callan Ward, Jacob Hopper
HF Sam J. Reid, Jeremy Cameron, Aiden Bonar
F Zac Langdon, Harry Himmelberg, Josh Kelly
FOL Rory Lobb, Stephen Coniglio, Dylan Shiel
I/C Daniel Lloyd, Lachlan Keeffe, Matt Buntine, Tim Taranto
EMG Isaac Cumming, Dylan Buckley, Zac Williams, Brent Daniels

IN
Sam J. Reid, Josh Kelly
OUT
Ryan Griffen (Injured), Brent Daniels

He was at Essendon in 2018.

Played 16 games for the Giants in 2017, but missed a bunch after knee surgery.

Sorry I got to cross purposes with my convo with Arrow...I posted that in error then deleted it, thinking Arrow was responding to me with his comment...

My conversation was about Rory Lobb changing clubs cause he wanted to play more as a forward...thought Arrow was questioning if Lobb was best 22 and so posted this team for that reason..

Cunnington (when fit) is an absolute gun. Dragged North across the line in round one against the saints and is a far better midfielder than anyone on our list bar Cripps. It’s no coincidence that North fell off a cliff after his injury this year. In saying that I don’t think North would let him go for anything less than a top 10 pick and at 28 years of age, with our midfield profile, it probably would be too big a price to pay.

Wouldn’t be completely against it though considering we are discussing Wines/Crouch etc. Cunnington is just an older and better version. He and Cripps would be a formidable duo.
Watch * go after Cunnington thinking they are close to a premiership 😂😂😂

Let’s wait and see DangerousD

I really don’t understand your angle here. If either are delisted, it has nothing to do with the two you mentioned. If either are traded, despite wanting to stay, it will have nothing to do with the two you mentioned.

If one or both want to both leave the club they love and have spent their whole life being a part of, where their grandfather and father are both premiership players and club icons because their dad didn’t get a contract extension, id Be shocked.

Time will tell as you said.

A few others:
Dangerfield
Charlie Cameron
Shaun Burgoyne
Lachie Neale

Think you may have missed the original criteria

Which players, left a club, being best 22, to play in their supposed preferred role and still best 22 at their new club

All of those players continued in their same roles
