I'll bet the MLB is very relieved that the season is over, and that there wasn't a game 7 after the Turner positive test!
Congratulations to all my LA Dodger supporting buddies - it was a long time coming. Still down on you guys though sweeping the Halos on the last weekend of the regular season to allow the Astros into the play-offs.
Y'all need to send some props to Kevin Cash for his bonehead move in removing Blake Snell - he was near untouchable. If Billy Martin had done that and removed Ron Guidry in the 1977 World Series, George Steinbrenner would gone straight down to the dugout and fired him on the spot.
So MLB are investigating why Justin Turner was allowed to return to the field to celebrate...
Excuse me Rob Manfred and MLB, but aren't the players supposed to be isolated in a bubble environment to remove the risk of infection - how then did Turner contract the virus???
Secondly, Turner had returned an indeterminate result in the morning's team wide testing, prompting the repeat test just before game time...why then was he allowed to play in the 1st place? The CDC, DHHS & other health authorities treat any non-negative result as a presumptive positive until a repeat PCR can be done.
As for Turner returning to the field, to put all the media and other non-Dodgers personnel at risk is very irresponsible (every Dodger player and coach would have already been exposed to Turner shedding viral particles in the LA clubhouse).

Just finished listening to The Edge a podcast series unpacking the Astros sign stealing scandal. It's by the guy who wrote the Sports Illustrated piece predicting the Astros would win the World Series in 2017 whilst they were absolute rubbish.
